Old oaks, a dock on the lake and a barn lit up with market lights, a few minutes from Clermont.
Bridlewood Ranch is a lakeside property in Minneola, a few minutes from Clermont and west of Orlando. It’s been hosting events since 2017, and it’s also a working u-pick blueberry farm with more than 2,500 bushes. We photographed a wedding here. You can go from the oaks to the lake to the barn without much of a walk, so you get a lot of variety out of one day.
Start with the oaks. They’re shaded and mossy, and the afternoon light under them is soft and easy on everyone. The wooden fences and a rustic barn-door frame out in the woods give you something to lean on, and the venue’s Old Oak Tree doubles as one of its ceremony sites.
Head down to the lake around sunset. The double-decker dock and the white sand beach face the water, and the venue talks up its lakeside sunset view. Back by the barn there’s a white swing, and after dark the barn itself glows under the market lights. Getting married in spring? The venue says blueberry season runs from about mid-April to mid-May, so the rows are fair game too.
The base package covers 9 am to 10 pm, so build your timeline backward from 10. We like to steal about 30 minutes at the dock before sunset, then bring everyone back to the barn for the entrance and first dance.
The venue sells DJ and other vendor add-ons in its bigger packages and keeps a preferred vendor list. If you want photo, film and DJ from one team, ask how outside vendors fit your package before you sign. The ranch also requires event insurance through the provider it refers you to, and a bartender to pour the alcohol you bring.

The venue doesn’t publish a written rain plan. Testimonials on its site describe ceremonies that moved inside, so ask how they’d handle weather on your date.
