Miya and Daniel: A Love Story in Winter Park
Miya and Daniel met in a chance encounter at Publix, where Miya was a customer. Little did they know that their lives would change forever. They started as best friends, and eventually their friendship blossomed into love. They have been dating ever since…
Their first date was at a movie theater in 2017 during high school, but they can’t quite remember which movie they saw. They both laughed about it and said it was probably “Passengers.”
As time passed, their love grew stronger and they became each other’s lifelong best friends. They describe their relationship in five words: “Lifelong Best Friend Forever Together.” Family, including their dog Hudson, means the most to both of them
Daniel popped the question in a sweet and romantic way. They were at a park in New Smyrna by the river, and he sweet talked his way out of a napkin from the car. When Miya turned around, he was down on one knee, asking her to spend the rest of her life with him.
Their future wedding date is set for November 17, 2023, at Moss Estates. Miya is excited for the getting ready process with her girls and family members, while Daniel is looking forward to the bachelor party and go-karting.
Their love story is one of patience, physical touch, and acts of service. They have grown in maturity since they started dating and appreciate each other’s quirks, like Miya getting the “zoomies” and Daniel’s drive. If they could spend 24 hours together, they would be on a boat fishing and watching the sunrise or sunset, ordering a ton of Chinese takeout.
After their engagement session in Winter Park, the couple celebrated with ice cream at Gelato Go, right outside of Rocket Fizz. Miya looked stunning in a sweater and dress from Zesica, while Daniel was stylish in Goodfellow shirt and pants, with Vans shoes.
Miya and Daniel’s love story is a testament to the power of friendship and the importance of family. Their first impressions of each other were all about looks and independent thinking, but their love has only grown stronger over time. They both enjoy vodka Red Bulls and Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, and their favorite alcoholic beverage is a Pomengrate Ginger Mule.
If their love story was made into a movie, they would title it “ADHD Love.” They both share a passion for interior design (Miya) and the ability to learn multiple trades (Daniel).
Miya and Daniel’s engagement session was a beautiful celebration of their love, and their future wedding promises to be just as magical. We wish them all the best on their journey together!
